Thus the flood of players that could be attracted to the casinos would bring a rise in revenue.

Norovirus leaves casino patrons sick

Casino Gambling Web reports that a norovirus has been rampant in Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Hotel in North Carolina, resulting in almost 250 patrons returning home sick.

The virus, which usually breaks out on cruise ships, was spread through some of the 3000 slot machines in use.
